Our young learners start their creative journey exploring various forms of art and craft. We encourage them to create their imagination, guiding them to paint with vibrant vegetable dyes, natural colors, crayons, and pencil colors. Adding a touch of nature, they paste pulses and grains onto pre-drawn pictures or sketches. We feel a sense of resourcefulness by urging children to make their own cards instead of buying them. As students progress to higher classes, they seamlessly integrate these skills into their projects and assignments across subjects.
Art and craft periods in our daily timetable serve as a platform for budding artists to shine, culminating in the much-anticipated ‘Creativity Week.’ During this week, children engage in decorating candles, enhancing small clay pots with beads and sequins, and by using the ‘Best out of waste’ concept—where even pencil shavings find new life as delicate flowers on handmade cards. It is a creativity that lasts a lifetime.
Mr. Girdhar Govinddasji Rathi, the founder of Dnyandeep Vidya Niketan, is a highly respected individual with 45 years of experience in the field of education. He served as the President of the municipal corporation of Hinganghat for seven and a half years. Mr. Rathi was recognized by the State Government for his significant contributions to a large-scale plantation program in Hinganghat. Additionally, he made history in Hinganghat by introducing and overseeing the organization of the Ranji Trophy cricket tournament at the taluka level for the first time.
